We recognize that wellness encompasses every aspect of our lives. It’s important to us
that people have access to the myriad ways a person’s mind, body, and soul can be nourished.The Spiritual Collective was created to support those providing as well as those seeking to obtain these essential resources in our community.

 

The Spiritual Collective houses disciplines such as yoga, reiki, sound bowl healing,
massage therapy, and fitness classes. It would also have space and resources for mental health care, recovery and 12-step programs, LGBTQ support death and dying support, and grief care.

Sedona offers a plethora of health, wellness, and spiritual opportunities; The Spiritual
Collective seeks to provide opportunities to businesses that share our values in a space where everyone will feel safe, respected, and valued.

Income from The Spiritual Collective will fund the ministries of Sedona UMC, but we
seek to create community rather than simply having a landlord/tenant relationship with those using our space. Starting a new business or finding a place for nonprofits to meet and offer services is difficult and often cost-prohibitive. The Spiritual Collective will serve as an incubator for new businesses with reduced or sliding scale rent, marketing support, and access to office needs like internet, computers, and printers. We will partner with nonprofit organizations who share our values and provide space for meetings and events at no cost.

Other offerings of The Spiritual Collective include opportunities for learning,
sharing, and expanding participants’ client base, hosting special groups, retreats, and community activities, and creative experiences like mocktail happy hours, group hikes, OHV and mountain bike excursions, or simple conversation around a fire pit.
